industry.<\/p>\n<p>The use of fuel cells is playing a fundamental role as integration and alternative in cogeneration systems, using hydrogen as a source of clean and easily stored energy.<\/p>\n<p>The use of hydrogen contributes to the reduction of CO2 that occurs by exploiting renewable sources for its production, such as photovoltaic panels.<\/p>\n<p>The efficiency is high, with values \u200b\u200bthat currently range from 40 to 60 percent but that the manufacturers of the fuell cells are optimizing with new solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Modularity allows to increase the installed power according to the needs, with considerable economic savings. The cells can be paralleled and assembled into modules to obtain and generate the required powers.<\/p>\n<p>EEI produces drives and network connection systems for systems powered by fuel cells with the application of isolated high-performance DC \/ DC modules of various sizes, suitable for different types of cells.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div class='flex_column_table Typical fuel cell voltage can be ranged from 60VDC, 120VDC, and 240VDC. The grid voltage of 400VAC can not be easily converted using typical one stage converter. A two stage approach has proven successful for allow the fuel cell power to be sent to be grid with high flexibility and efficiency and safety.<\/p>\n<p>An AFE (Active Front End) supports and supplies the power taken from the fuel cell to the AC grid (400 VAC), drawing it from the bar voltage (DC-Link). The voltage on the DC &#8211; Link is supported by one or more boosters (DC \/ DC) which take the voltage from the fuel cells which have insufficient voltage for the direct supply of the DC link.<\/p>\n<p>From the AC input line to the DC line are found in sequence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The DC \/ AC AFE converter;<\/li>\n<li>The intermediate DC line (DC &#8211; LINK);<\/li>\n<li>Multiple resonant DC \/ DC converters that exchange energy between the fuel cell input (s) and the DC-LINK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EEI\u2019s resonant DC \/ DC converter provided great solution to boost the fuel cell voltage to&gt; 300VDC range for DC-Link and provide galvanic isolation between the fuel cell and the DC-link for safety and control reasons. The isolated DC \/ DC converter is modular design and can be customizable according to different fuel cell power level and input \/ output voltage ratio.<\/p>\n<p>One example of system is 30kW fuel cell power converter using four DC \/ DC isolated converter (at 7.5kW each) and one DC \/ AC AFE inverter to continue boost the fuel cell output at 120VDC to AC grid at
