2,5 MW / 2,2 MWH ESS in AUSTRIA

“EEI continues the development path of converters for the “Smart Grid”.

Thanks to the collaboration with SAET Spa of Padua, EEI has supplied 4 PCS of 625 kVA each unit, for the construction of an Energy Storage System installed in Austria.

The Energy Storage capacity is 2.2 MWh with lithium-ion batteries and will stabilize the primary and secondary frequency in the network where it will be connected, near a wind farm.

The EEI PCS have been chosen for their wide capacity to manage very wide battery voltage ranges and excellent feedback functionality with respect to the needs of the grid.
